Our giant sunflower field is back in 2023 to celebrate the beauty of the end of the summer! With a huge success in 2021, we can’t wait to see the magnificent blooming of these giant flowers again beginning in September.

This project was born out of a childhood memory of Eleonore, daughter of the Macle family, the founders of Intermiel. When she was little, at the end of La Fresniere road, there was a large field of sunflowers. Each year, Eleonore was completely mesmerized by the beauty of these tall stems with huge yellow flowers at the end that follow the orientation of the sun, just like our bees.

During spring 2019, chatting with another mom from daycare, the latter jokingly asked her if by chance, she had a free field to grow sunflowers for a beautiful photo project. Caressed by her childhood dream still steeped in her memories, Eleonore immediately agreed to grow giant sunflowers to the delight of our visitors but above all, for our bees, since this flower is honey-bearing.

It is for this reason, that we now have three beautiful plots of giant sunflowers 🌻 in bloom this fall for a third year!

We therefore welcome you to our farm again on our enchanting site for this activity beginning of September. . You can walk with your family, breathe in the fresh scent of this magnificent flower and take a picture of yourself surrounded by the most dazzling scenery! Everything is set up to spend an amazing day on our site with multiple possibilities such as an outdoor picnic, a visit of our mini-farm, tastings of our alcohols and purchases of our products in our boutique and if you feel like it, a beautiful guided tour, for a few dollars well invested, with one of our passionate beekeepers Anne-Marie or Isabelle.
