Produced exclusively from maple sap, Gélinotte® is a truly authentic product.Our maple brandy liquor is produced exclusively from maple sap. A process that includes 3 main steps:

Step 1 : FERMENTATION of our concentrated maple sap producing a maple “wine” with 8 to 12% alcohol content.

Step 2 : DISTILLATION of our maple “wine” to produce a maple brandy with 60 to 90% alcohol content.

Step 3 : Our maple brandy liquor, Gélinotte with 22% alc./vol. is the result of an ASSEMBLY of concentrated maple sap, maple “wine” and maple brandy, with a final before and after touch, aged in a tank, with an adjustment of some natural maple flavours.

All ingredients come from the maple sap.

The silkiness of maple brandy adds harmonious, subtle and sophisticated notes to the complexity of this exceptional product.
Our Gélinotte can be served as a digestif at room temperature or with ice. It accompanies desserts extremely well and enhances the taste of cocktails, punches, coffees and sorbets. You can serve the Gélinotte with some 10% coffee cream in the glass (half / half). A true Canadian “Baileys”!
