Aged in oak barrels, a selection of pure buckwheat honey gives the Médiéval® its dark amber color.
The nose gives a complexity of aromas of dried fruits, apricots and flowers well assembled in a woody bouquet of vanilla and coffee.
The taste is powerful, strong, sweet, thick and full flavoured with a final note of wood and delicateness.

The Médiéval® can be served as a replacement to an extra-sweet wine.
It can be served as an aperitif with foie gras…purely delicious!
 
It accompanies strong cheese such as blue or veined cheese, strong cheddar.
 
It can be served with desserts: cakes, marzipan, pastries, fruit salads.
